Can I use the Brushpod daily?
The Brushpod is designed to be incorporated into your daily oral hygiene routine. It is suggested that you clean out the water tank after each use for hygienic purposes.
Why are there 3 time settings?
The three time settings allow you to customise the way that you clean your appliance. 180 seconds for to freshen up your appliance, 360 seconds as a daily clean and 480 seconds for a deep clean.
Will the Brushpod remove all of the plaque and bacteria?
In cases where bacteria has been accumulating on your oral appliance for prolonged periods, you may need to expose the appliance through multiple clean cycles to allow the device to begin breaking down the hardened debris.
What appliances can the Brushpod clean?
Dentures, occlusal splints, sports mouthguards, orthodontic retainers, clear essix retainers, hawley retainers, mandibular advancement splints, clear aligners.
Should I be using a sterilising tablet as well?
It is not a requirement to use a sterilising tablet, however, sterilising tablets may be dissolved within the water tank to help kill bacteria and soften hardened debris. Sterilising tablets can also be more effective in getting rid of odours than water alone.
